This board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. There are five (5) members serving three (3) year terms. There is an executive director who manages these facilities and attends the monthly board meetings.
The Garnett Housing Authority includes the operation of Parkside Place I & II, a combined 64-unit Section 8 HUD subsidized apartment complex for persons age 62 or older, and also operation of Park Plaza North, garden apartments and duplex-style villas (non-subsidized) for persons age 55 and older. Tours available upon request for persons interested in making Parkside Place or Park Plaza North their new home.
